This beautiful coloured plate of butterflies originates from the first edition of the work by Edward Hulme called 'Butterflies and Moths of the Countryside', published in 1903.

This 121-year-old print is in excellent condition and has illustrations of the Small White butterfly, larva and pupa, and Indian Cress - its favourite food plant.
