This beautiful coloured plate of butterflies originates from the first edition of the work by Edward Hulme called 'Butterflies and Moths of the Countryside', published in 1903.
This 121-year-old print is in a good condition and has 5 illustrations of the following butterflies (numbers below correspond with the numbers on the plate):

41. Small Tortoiseshell. Vanessa urticae.
42. Peacock. Vanessa io.
43. Red Admiral. Vanessa atalanta.

The pre-cut high quality matboard has an indigo / dark blue top layer, and is acid-free, protecting the print.
