This beautiful coloured plate of the Cinnabar Moth (Euchelia jacobaeae) originates from the first edition of the work by Edward Hulme called 'Butterflies and Moths of the Countryside', published in 1903.

This 121-year-old print is in excellent condition and has illustrations of the Cinnabar moth, larva, pupa, and it's favourite food plant, Ragworth (Senecio jacobaeae).

The pre-cut high quality matboard has a very light / pale green top layer, and is acid-free, protecting the print.
