This fascinating chromolithographic plate is completely filled with detailed illustrations of wild fur animals (Fourrures, in French), and some domestic animals, including the horse and rabbit. The plate originates from an antique French encyclopedia called 'Larousse Universel en 2 Volumes' from 1922. 

 

This 102-year-old plate comes with a pre-cut high quality matboard with a white top layer with a subtle texture. The matboard is acid-free, protecting the print.
