Warwick Goble (1862-143) was a British illustrator of children's books. In 1909, he became resident gift book illustrator for MacMillan. Among others, he produced illustrations for The Fairy Book, written by English novelist and poet, Dinah Maria Craik. She is best remembered for her novel John Halifax, Gentleman. Fun fact: Warwick Goble was the first to illustrate H. G. Wells' The War of the Worlds.
